lower seletar reservoir

the stretch of road at lower seletar reservoir, leading to the seletar country club and the seletar air base, is very popular with anglers and picnickers. in the evening the road is lined with cars, vans and motorcycles. on weekends, many of these people camp overnight at the dam.

like the kranji dam, on one side of it is the reservoir while on the other side is the sea. a lot of people passing through this area do not realise this.

swimming in the sea or reservoir can be treacherous. last june a 15-year old school boy drowned while trying to swim across a stretch of the water.
