on 18 dec, we met in school at 6.45 a.m. there were three cars making the trip up-country - mdm lim's, mine and my friend soon's. we headed for the causeway. when we joined the queue, we realised that the traffic was hardly moving. we decided to use the second link.

there were ten of us, 6 from admiralty, 1 from chung cheng high, 1 from temasek primary, 1 from kheng cheng and 1 student from pjc.

there were a number of changes to the accommodation. initially, we tried to book rooms in the istana hotel. then it was changed to the dorsett regency. it was changed again to the marriot. on the actual day, we were told it was the westin.

there was a good spread of food for breakfast at the westin. incidentally, breakfast would have cost us rm$55.

the 1st night, we had dinner at jln ah loy. we spent more than rm$90 on two large durians. on the 2nd night, we had chinese dinner at the overseas restaurant along jln imbi. dinner on the 3rd day was taken at pulai springs' qing restaurant. met hsieh and his family at the restaurant.
