melbourne - mornington peninsula

if you are in melbourne, you should take a leisurely drive to the mornington peninsula. if you have more time on hand, you should consider an overnight stay at sorrento.

on our last trip to melbourne, we stayed at hotel sorrento and when we came back to singapore, we found out that kim and lilian had stayed in the same hotel and in the same room as we.

we drove ivy's car - a kia rio - while soon drove amy's car - a toyota camry - and we took the nepean highway to frankston and portsea. we actually drove right to the tip of the peninsula.

from sorrento, you can take either the passenger ferry or the car ferry to queenscliff. we did not because we did not have the time. but we did visit the sunnyridge strawberry farm, nedlands lavendar farm and bought wine at one of the many wineries. ivy and ida picked strawberries while we browsed in the shop.
